Whether you’re looking for a place to pick up a new plant for your windowsill, a simple bouquet of cut flowers, or some home decor, we’d suggest opting for this new style of store. A hybrid of garden centers, home stores, and styled boutiques, these sweet green spaces are popping up around the globe. Here’s a list of some of our favorite, and most stylish, plant shops that we think you will love too!
Paiko – Hawaii
When you step inside this space, you are greeted with tropical and light filled sweetness. Whether you need some tropical flowers, a sweet little succulent arrangement, or a quick cup of joe from the neighboring Arvo Cafe, Paiko has got what you need!
Little Leaf Shop – Washington D.C.
You might not think to find a shop filled with lush, beautiful plants in the middle of D.C. but alas Little Leaf Shop!
Plant the Future – Miami, FL

Flora Grubb Gardens – San Francisco, CA
A staple to the bay area when it comes to everything involving the garden is Flora Grubb Gardens. Le Cactus Club – Paris, France
The Eiffel tower is not the only thing that has got some serious standing to it in Paris! Le Cactus Club is a plant boutique that specializes in cacti as well as other indoor tolerant houseplants. What’s not to love??
Sprout Home – Chicago, Brooklyn
Sprout Home is a one stop shop for all things garden! With locations in Chicago and Brooklyn, they offer floral designs, a slew of gorgeous houseplants, containers, garden accessories and even classes to work on your green thumb. Whoop Whoop!
The Palm Room – Seattle, WA
With a casual and quaint atmosphere, the Palm Room sells houseplants, succulents, kokedama, terrariums, moss gardens, and more.
Forage – Louisville, Kentucky
This gardening store is ‘on a mission to revitalize and incorporate plants back into our lives’. Here you can find pretty plants like rubber trees, fig trees, ferns, and pathos to name a few. Go ahead and swing by to forage some goodies for yourself!
Nikau Store – Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia
Australia is known for it’s super cool and unique design aesthetics. This Byron Bay plant shop, Nikau Store, is no exception. This shop brands themselves as a ‘botanical & clay emporium’, which is fitting since their shop is filled with a curated collection of handmade ceramic planters and some seriously beautiful plants.
Wildernis – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam is known for doing things in ways unlike anywhere else in the world. Wildernis is an ode to this forward thinking mentality. Their mission is to make the city greener, and they believe that plants not only benefit homes and offices, but people too! They work closely with local artisans to supply their customers with sustainable containers and home & garden products.
Plant Shop YYC – Calgary, Alberta, Canada
For somewhere that can get as cold as it does in Canada, it may seem unlikely to find a place where you can buy plants like succulents and cacti year round. Plant Shop YYC, however, has become a well known spot for picking up everything from a succulent filled terrarium, to a tropical palm, to even a bonsai tree. Just because it’s cold, doesn’t mean you have to forego your favorite plant friends.
Niche – Boston, MA
This plant shop sells everything from small to large houseplants, to planters and gardening tools. With a clean, modern aesthetic, Niche makes picking out a new plant an easy and super enjoyable task.
Folia Collective – Pasadena, CA
Located in Pasadena, California, the tiny and charming Folia Collective offers a curated collection of garden tools, handmade containers, and plants of course! We’re definitely going to plan a pit stop here very, very soon!
Plant by Packwood – Victoria, Australia
Plant by Packwood was born out of an obsession for self-sufficient terrariums. It now has grown into an ‘oasis for indoor greenery’. This street side greenhouse offers a reprieve from the concrete and lifeless structures of the city and allows for you to bring a little piece of botanical goodness home with you.
Stump Plants – Columbus, Ohio
With two locations in Columbus and another shop recently opened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Stump Plants is on their way to fulfilling their mission of bringing plants back into people’s lives. They offer heirloom quality, handmade planters and plants, as well as local delivery. Winner!
Fern – Cincinnati, OH
Sleek, modern, and sophisticated are three words that can be used to describe this gas station turned plant shop. Fern is a neighborhood shop that features a beautiful collection of plants and adorning housewares. Talk about gorgeous!!
